Adley City Springs Apartments

This six story mixed-use project adds 291 apartment units and over 8000 SF of retail to a flourishing downtown Sandy Springs. The site of the former Sandy Springs Post Office, with over 40 feet of grade change, required a complex design to provide the density and aesthetic the jurisdiction desired. The new structure features wood framing on four separate concrete podiums (3 cast-in-place, 1 precast), two outdoor courtyards, a top floor club room/amenity space, and a pool deck with skyline views atop the 7 story precast parking deck.
I joined the production team during design development and helped guide the team through their first major multifamily project modeled in 3D. After receiving the permit I led the construction administration process from site work through occupancy. It was extremely fulfilling to see my first work go from paper to reality.
